After following a traditional viticulture for about a decade, It is in the 2003 that Ferdinando Principiano decides to convert his viticulture to natural, banishing herbicides from the rows, chemicals and fertilizers. In the vineyard the plants are raised by dedicating them maniacal care and attention, with the utmost respect for what is the balance of the environment, so nature and ecosystem are the same in the cellar. The Monforte d’Alba winery is made up of over 15 hectares of vineyards and is managed with the deepest passion and the most unconditional love.
BAROLO SERRALUNGA in the glass it is garnet red, delicate and elegant. The olfactory bouquet is rich and full of vitality, with an overwhelming intensity composed of hints of black cherries and rose petals, licorice and cloves, leather and spices. On the palate the taste is dominated by robust tannins that lead to forget it in the cellar for a couple of years, and promise to support it for at least a decade. E’ the most immediate Barolo from the Principiano winery, easy and sincere and that you don't have to wait for the right opportunity to drink it.
