The. Agr. PRINCIPIANO FERDINANDO
“Being winemakers in the Langhe of Piedmont means having an inseparable and indissoluble relationship with the land, with vines and wine ". After following a traditional viticulture for about a decade, It is in the 2003 that Ferdinando Principiano decides to convert his viticulture to natural, banishing herbicides from the rows, chemicals and fertilizers. In the vineyard the plants are raised by dedicating them maniacal care and attention, with the utmost respect for what is the balance of the environment, so nature and ecosystem are the same in the cellar. The Monforte d’Alba winery is made up of over 15 hectares of vineyards and is managed with the deepest passion and the most unconditional love.
BAROLO BOSCARETO it is the most important and representative wine of Principiano: pressed on foot and fermented with the stalks, the Barolo Boscareto with the vintage 2013 it reaches a decidedly important and profound "shape". In the Langhe, few producers think of sulfur dioxide, indigenous yeasts and soil vitality. Crù produced from vines that have more than 40 years and which express the history of this Serralunga particle. In the glass it is garnet red and on the nose with fruity aromas of blackberry and black cherry chased by spice of black pepper and even menthol. On the palate it is powerful, balanced and mineral, with robust tannins. A truly “refined” and elegant wine.
