Alta Langa Rosé Docg Brut
Wine growers since the end of the 19th century when the first bottles of Nebbiolo and Barbera began to be produced in the hamlet in the hamlet of Lioni. The turning point took place in the 1950s when the then founder Carlo decided to found his winery in Canale in the heart of the ROERO, carrying on the family tradition with a small glance at the Langa del Barolo. Once the Roero and the Langhe were a unique plateau with the Tanaro river flowing to the North and only in a "recent" era, following several floods that changed the course of the water, the separation between these two areas took place. When the waters over the centuries retreated and thereErosion caused by the new ones tributaries began to affect the soil of the Roero, they created themselves the Rocche, sandy canyons full of gorges, steep spiers and reliefs that mark the watershed between old and new river valley. Now crossed by a network of nature trails, the Rocche are therefore extraordinary points of view which characterize the landscape which thus has an alluvial soil characterized by sandstones, rocks consisting of sand and limestone. This soft soil rich in minerals, perfect for whites and reds, woman fragrant wines, complex but at the same time very elegant. The extension of the property consists of 21 hectares of organic cultivation since ever: “I have always cultivated my vineyards, my vegetable garden and my orchard pursuing quality and authenticity. Like my family at home, so my customers in the restaurant must first drink a good and healthy wine. " Carlo Deltetto Sr. The vineyards cultivate Arneis, Barbera, Dolcetto and from the end of the years 90 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for sparkling wines. Grapes vinified with the most unconditional love for their vineyards and their lands.
